Forthcoming changes to services

As you are probably aware Vic Goodman is retiring at the end of April, and at this stage looks unlikely to be replaced. As a result some changes need to be made. Primarily these will involve what service happens when at Ravenstone on a Sunday morning.  These changes will actually start in April so that Easter Day is taken into account.

Therefore from April morning services at St. Michael’s will take the following pattern:

1st  Sunday of Month:  Songs of Praise

2nd Sunday of Month: Messy Church

3rd Sunday of Month: Holy Communion

4th Sunday of Month: Morning Worship

5th Sunday of Month: Rotating joint service with Christ Church and St. Peter’s as per usual

 

As both Holy Communion and Baptism require a priest, with only one clergy person, baptism need to be done in the context of communion services rather than separately as at present.

There should not need to be any changes made to evening service patterns.
